Mark your calendars because Dance Week is coming back to Hollywood Hill! Starting Monday, January 13, students will participate in PTA-sponsored dance lessons during their normally scheduled specialty (Music, P.E., Library) class times. Lessons will be provided by Gaylen Suave aka Dance Dude of GSC Productions. These lessons are designed to build confidence, promote social interactions and generate excitement for the Glow Dance! To mark the end of Dance Week, the PTA is hosting an all-school Glow Dance! There will be black lights, glow sticks and face painting, as well as light refreshments. White or neon colored clothing is highly recommended. A sensory calming space will be available for families who need a break from the excitement. This event is free for all HHE families, staff and community members. As always, we need volunteers to make this event happen and you can sign up here. Shifts are limited to 45 minutes. Please note that volunteer opportunities are not limited to PTA members or HHE parents. Extended family members, older siblings, neighbors and friends are all welcome to volunteer provided they have passed a district background check. Student volunteers are exempt and do not need a background check. If you have not yet completed a district background check, you can do so here.
